Today marks a full week since my last blog post – a full week of not writing anything.
Learning a new habit is proving more difficult than expected. (Ah! There’s a blog post idea … once I am qualified to lend said advice).
I don’t mean to keep this blog a diary, but I suppose in order to find my groove and writing style I will have to continue with these kinds of entries. If you are enduring this with me, I thank you for your patience.
All is well, no worries. I am just modifying the rules of the game to still hitting 250 words a day, but not before my supply of caffeine has been consumed. This constitutes as the second first day of the challenge meaning that from today, April 20th, until May 20th, the internet, and its friendly consumers will have access to my short blurbs every day for 30 days! I know, I know. The excitement is unreal!
I wonder how many of us spend each day wondering why we did not accomplish what we set out to accomplish. Perhaps I am in the dark, and everyone around me sitting in this coffee shop doesn’t share this sense of void that I do; it’s rather agonizing when you know what you could have done but for foolish reasons you did not. Am I an original philosopher or what?! I digress … until further notice … once I have researched the topic more and perhaps developed a combative mechanism against this unproductive pattern!
Until next time – er – tomorrow! I’m off sip the rest of my cappuccino and perhaps check off a few tasks of my agenda! Best of luck on your endeavors. Ciaoooo!
